Episode 12 of KanColle, titled “Enemy Planes Dive-Bombing From Above!,” is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll for paid subscribers. Free subscribers can watch the same episode six days from now on April 1st.
Akagi is about to face the music and accept her death at the end of episode 11, but is saved at the last minute by Fubuki. It obviously shows that Fubuki has greatly improved since she was remodeled back in episode 10 even though she hasn’t changed physically compared to Yudaichi.
The Abyssal Fleet’s Airfield Princess proves to be the Fleet Girls’ toughest opponent when she is still standing after taking Yamato’s attack head-on.
Oi made me go “holy s—t” when she hit one of the Abyssals with a flying side kick to save Kitakami from getting killed. It shows that they are not restricted to the capabilities of their names. Just because Kitakami got her name from a torpedo cruiser, it does not mean she cannot use her hands and feet.
I have to say that Oi became a bad@$$ in that one scene.
She didn’t stop there as she threw the enemy into the sky before annihilating it. The awesome scene got funny when Kitakami hugged her in tears. I could only laugh when Oi ate it up as an “orgasmic moment.”
I was shocked that the moment lead to an awesome team-up attack, which wipes out all of their surrounding enemies.
They manage to defeat the Airfield Princess, but the Fleet Girls learn that she was the least of their worries as another enemy fleet arrives. This leads the Fleet Girls to their ultimate antagonist for the first season, which made me go “holy shit” as it revived the Airfield Princess and encased her in a protective barrier.
Everything gets exciting from there when Nagato arrives with the rest of the Fleet Girls for a brutal knockdown and throwdown against the Abyssal Fleet.
I had a “holy f—k” look when the Airfield Princess kept regenerating from her injuries.
This turns into the most exciting battle in KanColle.
Season one ended on a great note and I look forward to what KanColle season two will bring.
