Review: James More from ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ fantastic on Broadway (Includes first-hand account)

More, who was known as “The Deceptionist,” began his set with his famous impaling act, which was made famous on the British reality competition, Britain’s Got Talent, which was the first demonstration on the show that was well-received by the New York audience.

After a spell-binding suspension act with his female assistant, he performed another neat demonstration, where he was able to squeeze himself into a miniature version of himself, where only his head and feet were visible.

It is safe to say that More saved his best demonstration for last, which involved his “firey magic act” with spikes (which he had also performed during his tenure on Britain’s Got Talent). While the audience was immersed and looking for him on the stage, he was able to reappear in the middle of the venue by the orchestra rows, and blew a whistle to capture the crowd’s attention.

The Verdict

Overall, James More put on a fabulous live magic show on Broadway, and all four of his demonstrations were incredible. He displayed a great deal of charm and charisma, and proved that there are only bigger and better things to come for him in 2016. His live performance in “The Big Apple” garnered 5 out of 5 stars.
