This season of Mindfreak consisted of five of his most dangerous demonstrations ever attempted, which included being shackled in a coffin and buried six feet under snow in a mountain, as well as traversing a field of live explosives.
In the final episode of the first disc, Angel attempts a mass levitation, where he tries to levitate an entire crowd in a Las Vegas setting.
One of the most impressive episodes of season 5 was “Terminal Velocity,” where he teleported himself from the top of a building to the ground, where he was surrounded by an audience of fans. He had an audience member sign his hand, while at the top of the building, to prove that he was doing it live, and that same signature stayed intact on his arm a few seconds later when he teleported himself to the ground.
The Verdict
In Season 5 of Mindfreak, Criss Angel was able to challenge the laws of physics and science in every shape and form and redefine the art of magic and illusions. It garners an A rating.
