Fans of the popular "Elders React" web series on YouTube are mourning the loss of Pamela, who was a regular on the show. Last Wednesday, the following
post announcing Pamela's death showed up on the "FineBros Fans" official Facebook page:
"Sad to share that Pamela, from Elders React, passed away. She loved the show and all of you so much. We can not express our sadness properly in words. Our thoughts are with her family."
One day later, on September 11th, the Fine Bros posted a
tribute to Pamela at the end of a new
Elders React video, in which the elders reacted to the movie trailer for
Fifty Shades of Grey.
The show
Elders React started in May of 2012 as a result of the growing popularity of its predecessors,
Kids React and
Teens React, which started in 2010 and 2011, respectively. In the series, various "elders" react to video games, music videos, popular culture and news headlines, among other things.
The Fine Brothers' main YouTube channel, which was created in 2007, currently has over 10 million subscribers and over 2 billion views. According to
Social Blade, they are the
16th most subscribed YouTube channel, right behind Justin Bieber's VEVO channel, and right above the official YouTube Channel for Ellen Degeneres' ABC show.
