Paramount's latest trailer for Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick highlights fearless action and a sneak peek into character personality.
Much explosion. Many CG. Such shell shock. Wow.
From producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman comes another exciting modern remake of the much-loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In association with Nickelodeon Movies and Platinum Dunes, the 2014 TMNT flick focuses on the original story of the turtle brothers.
Donatello, Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael must seek out their destiny to emerge from the depths of the sewers and save New York City from Shredder (William Fichtner) and his evil Foot Clan.
Working together with reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), the four brothers will attempt to stop the Darkness from taking the city.
Judging from the trailer, the movie promises good humour by way of Arnett, one-liners from the turtles, and those highly-anticipated Michael Bay action cuts.
The original Ninja Turtles are a fictional team of four anthopomorphic turtles named after four Renaissance artists, who are trained in ninjutsu by their anthropomorphic rat sensei in the sewers of New York City.
Hailing from a comic book, the characters expanded into cartoon series, films, video games, toys, and other merchandise at the height of their popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The TMNT comic book from Mirage Studios ran for 26 years between 1984 and 2010.
