article imageMiley Cyrus cups Katy Perry's breasts at the 2015 Grammys

With all the glitz and glamour on display at the Grammy awards, there is always a bit of time for fun between two friends competing for the Best Pop Vocal Album award.
In a moment evocative of Diana Ross groping Lil’ Kim at the 1999 VMAs, Miley Cyrus fondled Katy Perry’s breast backstage at the Grammy awards. Moments later, Katy returned the favor, but found less to fondle on the younger singer.
The friendliness shown by both singers is evident even though they both were beaten by Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour. Perry performed "By the Grace of God" at the Grammys, her first major public performance since the half-time show at the Super Bowl. Perry was joined by Brooke Axtell, a domestic abuse survivor, during the performance.
During the presentation for Album of the Year, Kanye West decided to recreate his “I’ma let you finish” stunt from the VMAs when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s award. Beck, the winner of Album of the Year for Morning Phase, laughed and told West to stay on stage with him. Although West declined, he did speak out after the show to E! News.
“I don't even know what [Beck] said. I just know that, the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We aren't going to play with them no more. 'Flawless.' Beyoncé's video. And Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyoncé,” said the rapper.
West continued his rambling rant before finishing, “We aren't playing with them anymore. And by the way, I got my wife, my daughter, and I got my clothing line, so I'm not going to do nothing that would put my daughter at risk, but I am here to fight for creativity. That's why I didn't say anything tonight, but you all knew what it meant when 'Ye stepped on that stage.”
Kanye was up for Best Rap Song with Charlie Wilson for Bound 2, but lost out to Kendrick Lamar.
