article imageMargaret Cho to premiere new comedy show on 'Showtime'

By Markos Papadatos     Jul 22, 2015 in Entertainment
Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian Margaret Cho will be premiering her newest stand-up comedy event on Showtime on September 25.
Her show as filmed in March at Gramercy Theatre in New York City, where she played in front of a live "Big Apple" audience.
This was an unfiltered comedic event, where she kept nothing off limits. It included her observational humor and her commentaries about her personal life. It dealt with such subject matters as being single to female empowerment; moreover, she paid tribute to Oscar-winning actor, the late comedian Robin Williams, as well as the late Joan Rivers, whom she refers to as her "Mother in Comedy." She was close to both entertainers, and her friendship with Williams inspired her to begin the #BeRobin campaign, in an effort to raise awareness for the homeless community.
She will be going on her national "The psyCHO Tour" this fall, as Digital Journal reported.
