article imageLucy Hale wins Teen Choice award for 'Pretty Little Liars'

Actress Lucy Hale won a 2014 Teen Choice award yesterday for her acting work on the ABC television drama, "Pretty Little Liars."
Hale was named "Choice Actress: Drama," besting her fellow nominees, Pretty Little Liars co-star Troian Bellisario, as well as Rachel Bilson (Hart of Dixie), Maddie Hasson (Twisted) and Maia Mitchell (The Fosters).
Aside from being an actress, she is a country singer in her own right, and she recently made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry, where she sang her latest single "Lie A Little Better," which is the follow-up to her breakthrough hit "You Sound Good To Me."
Earlier last month, on July 2, she appeared at the Nash 94.7 FM studio in New York City, where she played an intimate show for her fans as they were treated to music from her debut studio album Road Between.
Her latest CD includes "Red Dress," a duet with country star Joe Nichols.
At this rate, I would not be surprised if Hale makes it in the running for "Choice: Female Country Artist" at next year's award show.
