Singer Kanye West was performing in Australia when he briefly stopped his show and told two handicapped people to stand up.
The incident occurred over the weekend, while he was performing a show at the Quantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney, according to Express.
According to The Daily Beast, the incident was caught on film, and West announced that he couldn't do the show until every single person in attendance stood up. Most of the fans got up, but West noticed that there were two who stayed seated. One of them raised a prosthetic limb and West told her that she was fine.
Kanye sent over his bodyguard into the crowd to check if the other person was also handicapped, according to TMZ. When the disability was confirmed, Kanye said that everything was fine and he continued on with his show.
A fan who was in attendance said that it was clear that Kanye didn't mean to offend anyone, and that the whole thing was blown out of proportion.
Kanye, as well as his wife, Kim Kardashian, and their daughter North, are in Australia for ten days of concerts that are taking them all over the country.
Kanye was reportedly hospitalized on Wednesday night, due to a severe migraine. He underwent an MRI scan and then he was released.
