Justin Bieber recently posted a photo of himself speaking to 17-year-old Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai via FaceTime.
Bieber, 20, posted the photo, which shows Bieber and Yousafzai engaged in a conversation on FaceTime, to Instagram. The singer said that he just had the chance to talk with Yousafzai via FaceTime. He went on to say that she has an incredible story.
The photo was posted to Bieber's Instagram on Wednesday, and since then more than 650,000 people have liked it.
According to Kfor, Bieber also said that he cannot wait to meet her face-to-face and discuss how he can support her cause.
Yousafzai did not post any tweets about her and Bieber's conversation, but last year she did say that she was a fan of the singer.
Bieber didn't say how he got chatting with Yousafzai or what exactly they will be partnering on. He also did not mention when he plans on meeting with her.
Yousafzai made headlines back in 2012 when she was shot in her head by the Taliban, because she was championing girls' rights to an education. She ended up surviving the attack, but she remained in critical condition before her conditioned improved and she was moved to a hospital in England.
She eventually went on to set up the Malala Fund, with the aim to campaign for female education around the globe.
