Joan Rivers has been in the hospital since her throat surgery last week. New updates are coming in constantly and the latest news is that the Hollywood star is still on life support.
Today Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers shared another update on her mother's condition. She released a statement that said:
“On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. At this time she does remain on life support.”
Melissa continued saying:
“I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers.”
Joan Rivers is at Mount Sinai Hospital where she was rushed last Thursday after complications arose during her surgery on her vocal chords and she has been in the hospital ever since. Melissa rushed to be by her side and has been sharing updates on her mother's health ever since.
Reports came out last Thursday that Rivers stopped breathing during her surgery. She was also placed in a medically induced coma and Melissa shared that her mom was resting comfortably over the weekend. New updates will continue to come out about her condition. Nobody at the hospital is talking so Joan Rivers' fans have to wait on Melissa to share news when she is ready.
