BBC America has released the first official trailer for season 2 of “In the Flesh”, the zombie drama series starring Luke Newberry.
In the Flesh was first commissioned by BBC Three in 2012. Season 1 was well received in the UK and US and quickly recommissioned by the channel.
Just three episodes long, the first outing for Dominic Mitchell's drama told the story of Kieren Walker (Luke Newberry), a sufferer of PDS — partially deceased syndrome — and his struggle to reintegrate into his family and isolated village four years after rising from the grave!
With twice the number of episodes, Season 2 — which began filming in October 2013 — is scheduled to air in May.
Season 1 of In the Flesh was broadcast in the UK on BBC Three and, in the US, as part of BBC America's Supernatural Saturday, the strand also occupied by such programmes as the long-running time-travel series Doctor Who and Orphan Black, which stars Tatiana Maslany.
