Fan Expo Vancouver brings celebrities, panels and workshops with the newest and hottest in anime, manga, comics, sci-fi, gaming and horror. Some of the big names at the event were Star Trek’s William Shatner, Star Wars’ Carrie Fisher and Dr. Who’s John Barrowman.
Fiction Frenzy TV’s freelance journalist Josefina Rosado covered the event and commented that this event was bigger and more exciting than last year.
“The Fan Expo 2015 was everything I wanted it to be. There were so many stars to meet and wonderful guest speakers like Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time). I was so excited to have a picture with my family and William Shatner. He was such a warm and fun person to meet. But what I loved most was the fans getting really into it. They dressed up in wonderful costumes and lots of them stayed in character.” – Josefina Rosado, freelance journalist Fiction Frenzy TV.
In the Q&A session, Jennifer Morrison was asked by a fan from the audience why the storyline of Once Upon a Time sometimes becomes nasty. Morrison responded by stating that expressing art comes in many forms.
“The purpose of art is to move people, to encourage them to feel things and sometimes it’s not always good, sometimes it’s bad, sometimes it’s scary, sometimes it’s heartwarming, sometimes it’s romantic, sometimes it’s lost. There are many ways of expressing that.” Jennifer Morrison
The full list of stars who were available to interact with fans for photo opportunities were Carrie Fisher, John Barrowman, Chad Coleman, Jeremy Shada, Sarah Wayne Callies, Karen Gillan and Jennifer Morrison.
