A short trailer has been released to publicise "Animal", a forthcoming horror film executive-produced by Drew Barrymore.
Animal includes Keke Palmer and Paul Iacono among an ensemble cast, who have been filming in the US, in Manchester, Connecticut.
As detailed last summer, by the Hollywood Reporter, the film "follows a group of close-knit friends who find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a blood-thirsty predator. Holed up in isolated cabin, tensions mount as secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group puts their differences aside and fights for survival."
Now, the first teaser trailer for the movie has been released exclusively through the Hollywood Reporter 's "live feed."
Palmer played Aisha in 27 episodes of Nickelodeon's Winx Club: Beyond Believix. Iacono, meanwhile, is best known for playing the eponymous role in MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger.
As well as Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen is an executive producer on the film, which is produced by Thommy Hutson, Chris Miller, Kelly Smith and Ember Truesdell.
The film is directed by Brett Simmons (Husk), from a script by Thommy Hutson and Catherine Trillo. The creature effects were created by Gary J. Tunnicliffe.
Following a limited theatrical and video-on-demand run, Animal will be broadcast later this year on Chiller, the NBCUniversal-owned cable and satellite TV channel, which was originally launched in 2007.
