The 24-year-old singer was recently performing at a bar in Dublin on Thursday. The performance was intimate and at one point he played the ‘Yes/No’ game, and he was asked if he ever farted on stage.
It turns out that Sheeran has indeed passed gas while performing. However, the singer went a step further and said that there was one time when he was on stage that he farted, but he misjudged it. Instead of it being a fart, it ended up being a shart.
Sheeran said that he was halfway through his performance and he was lively and instead of getting off stage, he just stood for the rest of the performance. He continued to say that he stood there and was hoping that it would end soon so he could go home and toss his pants in the garbage.
The accident wasn’t caused by an ongoing problem, but Sheeran did say that it was due to a temporary illness. He said in three days he flew from London to Tokyo to Sydney to England and that this left him messed up and feeling ill.
During the game, the singer was also asked if he ever joined the mile high club (sex on an airplane) and he said no. Sheeran said that he felt a private jet was more suitable for that type of thing, but he hadn’t been on one yet.
