Real estate mogul and Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump once again stirred the autism-vaccination debate, this time on Twitter, by sharing his belief that autism is due to high vaccination dosage. In 2012, he maintained the same view on Fox News.
According to the International Business Times, Trump's tweets were a reaction to a new report on the rise of autism. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report indicated that, in America, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children has increased 30 percent in the last two years.
Trump said that if he was President he would make sure small children get proper vaccination and not one-time massive vaccines.
He wrote, "Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, and doesn't feel good and changes - AUTISM. Many such cases!" In addition, Trump also added, "With autism being way up, what do we have to lose by having doctors give small dose vaccines vs. big pump doses into those tiny bodies?
