Catching up with Criss Angel about ‘The Supernaturalists’ (Includes interview)

The acclaimed magician noted that he was quite pleased with the June 28 matinee preview performance of The Supernaturalists. “This last one went absolutely amazing. Each one keeps on getting better and better. It’s a living organism, so at the end of the day, it always changes and transforms. I listen to the audience and I am always tweaking, and trying to make the best experience. It’s a great show,” he said.

Angel added, “The plan is to remain here until July 23. The Supernaturalists are going to be playing here in Connecticut. You will see the most mind-blowing magic spectacle that the world has ever seen. You will see the very best nine performers that I picked from all over the world, each in their respective discipline. I picked them from all over the world from Paris, France, to Colombia to Mexico to Spain to South Africa, and of course, the U.S.A. You will see the best of the best. We are very excited about this show.”

He concluded by expressing his love for The Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. “To be at Foxwoods is the best. The president of Foxwoods, Felix Rappaport, was the guy who believed and had the vision in me back at the Luxor to sign me for a 10-year deal with ‘Believe.’ The fact that he is now the president here, and has invited me to do The Supernaturalists here after ‘Mindfreak Live’ is amazing. Foxwoods is such a great venue. It is probably the largest casino in the entire country and it is absolutely amazing. It has entertainment, food and a really great mall, and of course, the best magic show, The Supernaturalists,” he said.
