Most recently, Betty White won the fan-voted People’s Choice award for “Favorite TV Icon,” and she is still as strong as ever. She was escorted onstage at the award ceremony by Chris Evans.
According to People Magazine, each day, White is greeted on the Hot in Cleveland set with a special hula dance, and she was welcome with a massive hula dance, to celebrate her 93rd birthday. The show is in its sixth and final season.
White really got into it and was clapping throughout the interpretive dance. She was subsequently greeted by hugs from her fellow Hot in Cleveland co-stars, which included Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.
It was evident that the living legend was overwhelmed with love and gratitude, and towards the end of the video clip, White joked, “At 93, you shouldn’t be doing this.”
As Digital Journal reported in September of 2013, White made the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest television career for a female entertainer in the industry. Her respected career has spanned 74 years and she has starred in such acclaimed television shows as The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Mama’s Family, The Carol Burnett Show, among many others.
