The Horror Channel has released a new animated "Doctor Who" trailer, to advertise it's upcoming broadcast schedule of Classic episodes from the 50-year-old science-fiction TV series.
A selection of 30 Doctor Who episodes are due to start airing in the UK on the Horror Channel, starting this coming Easter Bank Holiday weekend
The marathon, which will comprise one story each from the first seven Doctors, is set to begin on Friday, April 18.
The promotional trailer (see above) is voiced by none other than the Fourth Doctor himself, Tom Baker, who was most recently seen opposite Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith in the series playing the mysterious Curator in last year's Doctor Who 50th-anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor.
The very first story, An Unearthly Child, which was originally broadcast in 1963, will kick-start. After Easter, the Horror Channel will continue with its Doctor Who-fest, with a twice-daily weekday double-bill, shown in chronological order, Den of Geek has reported.
Later this year, Peter Capaldi's first full series (and a Christmas special) as the new Doctor is due to air on BBC One in the UK, BBC America in the US and other territories, later in the year.
