article imageAlternate scene in 'Gravity' could have 'redefined movie' (Video)

By Anne Sewell     Apr 11, 2014 in Entertainment
An exclusive alternate scene for the hit film "Gravity" is currently doing the rounds on YouTube. If used, this scene could have totally redefined the film (and, for that matter, made it a heck of a lot shorter).
The film, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney could have been completely different.
According to the description, the alternate scene was shot by Oscar-winning director of Gravity, Alfonso Cuarón, but was regrettably rejected by the top brass at Warner Bros.
However, the video was uploaded to YouTube by one Krishna Shenoi, a "20-year-old Indian boy who has been obsessed with movies for as long as I can remember," who is the more likely suspect in its creation. The video is included above for your enjoyment.
Whoever made it, the effects are certainly clever. The clips used come from the original movie Gravity (2013), cleverly combined with clips from Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
