article imageActor James Lee Taylor talks Three Olives Vodka commercial Special

By Markos Papadatos     Dec 19, 2014 in Entertainment
Actor James Lee Taylor chatted about his newest Three Olives Vodka commercial, where he had to undergo a full transformation.
Taylor remarked, "It feels great, I loved the role and being in character as the werewolf. It was funny, even when the cameras stopped rolling, I was still in character walking about on set. It's a great product and I'm proud to be the three olives man."
He shared that his transformation was a lengthy process. "I flew from Los Angeles to London, and its team flew in to meet me in Prague to build the face mask and make a cast of my face, which was basically like, having your face covered in concrete and having to breathe only through a straw for an hour, which was actually quite scary. Then I was off to the dentist on Harley Street to have a mould of my mouth taken for the fangs and then contact lenses made and measured for my yellow eyes when I transform. Once we got to Prague, each day to get into character and become the werewolf, it took 4 hours of building it all up painstakingly each step at a time. It was worth it though, as the results were great," he explained.
Regarding his future plans, he said, "Working hard and trying to book some more films, and my goals currently are to get in an X-men film and my lifetime target is to become James Bond."
His proudest accomplishments this year include making the transition from theatre to film and from New York to Los Angles which has been quite the change for Taylor. "With a lot of hard work it's all coming together and with the three olives launching now at the end of the year, it's a nice way to finish the year off and be ready for pilot season," he said.
He concluded, "My New Year's resolution is the same as it has been for a few years now: to give up soda, but this year I'm going to stick to it."
