Global electronic dance music (EDM) sensation Armin van Buuren is bringing his epic, five-hour "Armin Only Intense" world tour to the United States.
It kicks off on April 11 at New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden. It will feature Armin leading the world's biggest dance party from his custom-made 76-foot-wide DJ booth, where he will be accompanied with acrobats, dancers, live singers and musicians. It is set to include pyrotechnics, as well as bleeding-edge visuals.
Following his New York show, he will play in venues in Chicago, Toronto (Canada), San Jose, Vancouver, Los Angeles, as well as Monterrey and Mexico City, both of which are in Mexico.
Armin van Buuren remarked in a press statement, "Unlike today, now that it's all based on short sets and quick highlights, it used to be all about the long sets, the musical trips. That's what Armin Only is based on – to take the clubbers on a [five]-plus hour journey into music. Through the Armin Only Intense shows, I can tell them the full story of my Intense album – in fact of everything I'd like to say."
This year, the Dutch superstar DJ scored a Grammy nomination for "Best Dance Recording" for "This Is What It Feels Like," his collaboration with Trevor Guthrie. The song was released via his label, Armada Music.
